Worship Council

Working with our minister, the Worship Council at UUCB designs and offers services of creative and participatory celebration and worship.

Rooted in tradition but free to innovate, Worship Council members promote community and spiritual growth, weaving personal insight from the heart together with intellectual content for the mind.

With the minister, the Worship Council helps to develop our shared understanding of the purpose and form of Sunday services and the annual calendar of themes and celebrations.

The Worship Council welcomes ideas for Sunday services. If you have an idea for a Sunday service — a topic, a speaker, or a program — please talk to a Worship Council member or attend a periodic Worship Forum, which is an opportunity to have input to all aspects of Sunday morning worship.
