Our Church

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder is a growing congregation of nearly 200 members and friends. We have a long history in the Boulder area, tracing our roots to the 1880s. As a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association, we believe, to use Ghandi’s words, that religious people are called to “be the change we want to see in the world.” Recognizing that faith without works is empty, we have a dedicated social justice program. Our church is a welcoming congregation, accepting and celebrating diversity—including GLBTs. We also have a strong faith development program, providing classes for children, teens, and adults.

Perhaps the most distinctive feature about the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder is something you can’t read about—it’s an energy and spirit on Sunday mornings that you have to experience for yourself.
